About B&H Tuition
B&H Tuition was created to provide supportive, flexible learning for students who benefit from a more personalised approach.
We specialise in English, Maths and Digital Skills tuition, helping learners build confidence, strengthen key skills and achieve their goals in a supportive and encouraging environment.
"Hello! Beth and Hannah here.
We started B&H Tuition because we saw a real need for young people to have a safe, understanding environment where they feel comfortable learning.
We both bring years of experience across school and home education, allowing us to support our learners in a way that truly meets their needs and helps them achieve their goals. We actively support each learner’s individual journey and progression, adapting to their unique way of learning — and we genuinely love being part of that process."
Our Story – B&H Tuition
B&H Tuition was created in response to the growing need for personalised learning support, particularly for home educating families and students who are not thriving in traditional school environments. We believe that every learner is different, and education should adapt to how a child learns best rather than expecting every child to fit into the same system.
Through our experience working with learners and families, we have seen first-hand the challenges many students face when they lose confidence in their education or struggle to access the right support. This is especially true for home educated learners and students with additional needs, where suitable provision and understanding can often be limited.
One of our tutors has worked with home educated learners for several years and is also a home educating parent herself. This means we understand both the professional and personal side of the journey. We know the worries families have, the pressure they can feel to get things right, and the frustration of trying to find the right support.
B&H Tuition was created to be that support. Our aim is to provide patient, personalised teaching that helps learners rebuild confidence, strengthen their skills and move forward with their education. Whether a student is home educated, preparing for exams, working towards Functional Skills qualifications, or building confidence through English, Maths and Digital Skills, we want families to feel they have finally found someone who understands and genuinely wants to help.
Our Vision
Our vision is to provide supportive, high-quality tuition that helps learners feel confident in their abilities and capable in their education.
We believe learning should be adaptable to the individual, not the other way around. By focusing on personalised teaching, patience and encouragement, we aim to help every learner develop the skills they need to move forward with confidence.
Whether a student is home educated, preparing for exams, or simply needs extra support in English, Maths or Digital Skills, our goal is to create a learning environment where students feel understood, supported and capable of achieving their potential.
